I joined an expedition to find primitive art
And that got me thinking, would I be happier

And I almost made it but my boat capsized

Then a filmmaker caught me in a couple of frames
Paddling a canoe but they don't know my name's

People think I'm dead but I'm actually alive
Why'd I do it? Allow me to explain
The Asmat ritual of eating brains

See, when you eat a brain you absorb the spirit
Of the body that used to have that brain in it
That sort of thing wouldn't fly in the states
But the tribe do it sometimes and I think it's great
They say the body is a tree and the head is a fruit
And out here you never have to wear a suit
